Student loan?

Question
I graduated high school 2 years ago and have not yet started college, though I really want to. I, of course, would need a student loan. How do I got about getting a student loan? I've never looked into this until now and really need strong, accurate advice. Please help if you can!! Thank you!
Answer
Contact the Office of Financial Aid at your college of choice. You will be required to fill out a FAFSA, then the college will usually give you a "Financial Aid Package" after getting your information back. From there, you accept or decline the aid, and anything that is not covered by scholarships or grants you have to take out in loans. You can only take out so much in government loans, so if you go beyond that, you have to work something out with the school, or go for a private loan through a bank (Wells Fargo, SallieMae, etc) Hopefully this helps! (AND....don't go with that guy above, that is just plain SHADY!)
